    Le Mont-Saint-Michel is an island commune in Normandy, France which has held strategic fortifications since ancient times and since the 8C AD has been the seat of the monastery from which it draws its name. The structural composition of the town exemplifies the feudal society that constructed it: on top, God, the abbey and monastery; below, the great halls; then stores and housing; and at the bottom, outside the walls, houses for fishermen and farmers. One of France's most recognizable landmarks, visited by more than 3 million people each year, Mont Saint-Michel and its bay are on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

With its race course, harbor, international film festival, marinas, conference center, villas, Grand Casino and sumptuous hotels, Deauville is regarded as the "queen of the Norman beaches", and one of the most prestigious seaside resorts in all of France. The closest seaside resort, when coming from Paris, the city and the nearby region of the Cte Fleurie has long been home to French high society's seaside houses and is often referred to as the Parisian riviera.

    Rouen, in northern France on the River Seine, is the historic capital city of Normandy. Rouen is known for its Notre Dame cathedral, with its Tour de Beurre (butter tower) financed by the sale of indulgences for the consumption of butter during Lent. The cathedral's gothic facade (completed in the 16th century) was the subject of a series of paintings by Claude Monet, some of which are exhibited in the Musקe d'Orsay in Paris. Other famous structures include Rouen Castle, whose keep is known as the tour Jeanne d'Arc, where Joan of Arc was brought in 1431 to be threatened with torture; the Church of Saint Ouen (12th–15th century), and more.

    Honfleur is a commune in northwestern France. It is located on the southern bank of the estuary of the Seine. It is especially known for its old, beautiful picturesque port, characterized by its houses with slate-covered frontages, painted many times by artists, including in particular Gustave Courbet, Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet and Johan Jongkind, forming the ecole de Honfleur which contributed to the appearance of the Impressionist movement. The Sainte-Catherine church, which has a bell tower separate from the principal building, is the largest church made out of wood in France.

Bayeux is a major tourist attraction, best known to British and French visitors for the Bayeux tapestry, made to commemorate events in the Norman Conquest of England in 1066. The Jardin botanique de Bayeux is a botanical garden dating from 1864.

    Giverny is a commune in northern France. It is best known as the location of Claude Monet's garden and home. Claude Monet's property at Giverny (house and gardens), left by his son to the Academie des Beaux-Arts in 1966, became a Museum opened to public visit in 1980 after completion of large-scale restoration work: the huge Nymphea's studio was restored and the precious collection of Japanese engravings was displayed in several rooms, hung in the manner chosen by the master himself. The other main attraction of the village is the Museum of Impressionism Giverny, dedicated to the history of impressionism and its continuation in the Giverny art colony and along the valley of the river Seine.

  • Étretat

    Etretat is a commune in the Haute-Normandie region in northern France. It is a tourist and farming town. It's located on the coast of the Pays de Caux area. Etretat is best known for its cliffs, including three natural arches and the pointed "needle". These cliffs and the associated resort beach attracted artists including Eugène Boudin, Gustave Courbet and Claude Monet.

  • Éoliennes de Fécamp

    Fecamp is a commune in the Haute-Normandie region in northern France. Main sights include : 12th – 14th century ruins of the ducal former palace enclosed in the abbey grounds – two towers and a wall section; Remains of the fort of Bourg-Baudouin, on the approach to Notre-Dame-du-Salut; Church of the Trinity, Primitive Norman Gothic style, constructed from 1175 to 1220 with some Roman traces.
