Schwäbisch Hall is the capital of the district of the same name. The town is located in the valley of the Kocher in the north-eastern part of Baden-Württemberg. Home to outdoor summer theatre, Hällisch-Frankische Museum and the Hohenloher Freilandmuseum shows the history of the region. Schwäbisch Hall and the surrounding area offer a plenty of activities including sports flying, swimming, hiking and cycling. Other parts of the city's culture includes the Salt Festival where the historical salt economy of the town is celebrated, the Summer Night Festival, the Baker's Oven Festival and the Christmas Market which includes traditional handicrafts.
