Every year during the summer the Leicester City Council hold cultural festivals in the market. The city is home to many landmarks. A few notable locations are: Leicester Abbey, The Guildhall, Leicester Castle, Jewry Wall and Church of St Margaret.

Calais is a town and major ferry port in northern France in the department of Pas-de-Calais. Calais overlooks the Strait of Dover, the narrowest point in the English Channel, which is only 34km wide here, and is the closest French town to England. The White Cliffs of Dover can easily be seen on a clear day from Calais. The old part of the town, Calais proper (known as Calais-Nord), is situated on an artificial island surrounded by canals and harbors. The modern part of the town, St-Pierre, lies to the south and south-east. In the center of the old town is the Place d'Armes, in which stands the Tour du Guet, or watch-tower. Today, Calais is visited by more than 10 million tourists annually.

Vianden is a commune with city status in north-eastern Luxembourg. It is known for its impressive castle and beautiful location in the Our valley. In addition, Vianden has a number of historic monuments including The Hockelstur, The Church of the Trinitarians and towered castle houses. Vianden also has a number of annual events and celebrations. The most famous of these is the nut market in October when local walnut products are on sale.The fairytale atmosphere and various local attractions have made Vianden popular with tourist and with 14 hotels, four campsites and youth hostel, there is a wide selection of accommodation.
