Medan is the capital of North Sumatra province in Indonesia. Medan is third largest city in Indonesia (behind Jakarta and Surabaya), and the largest Indonesian city outside Java. Because of its multiculturality, Medan has wide variety of cuisine which originated from Malay, Bataknese, Chinese, Indian, Minangkabau, Javanese, Arabs, and Western cuisines. This city is known as culinary heaven of Indonesia which prominent for its street hawkers offering a great variety of cuisine which often serves cheap local delicacies.

Palembang is one of the oldest cities in Indonesia, and has a history of being the capital city of the Kingdom of Srivijaya, a powerful Malay kingdom, which influenced much of Southeast Asia. Palembang's main landmarks include Ampera Bridge and Musi River, the latter of which divides the city into two. The north bank of river in Palembang is known as Seberang Ilir and the south bank of the river in Palembang is known as Seberang Ulu. This city was known as a host city for 2011 Southeast Asian Games. Additionally, 2018 Asian Games is going to be held in the city along with Jakarta.

Bogor is an important economic, scientific, cultural and tourist center, as well as a mountain resort. The Zoological Museum which was opened in 1894 by the Dutch colonial administration as an adjunct to the Botanic Gardens and contains thousands of exhibits. The museum of ethnobotany was opened in 1982 and has more than 2000 exhibits; museum of the earth represents hundreds of soil and rock samples from different parts of Indonesia.

Pangandaran is a town and district of Pangandaran Regency within the province of West Java, Indonesia. Pangandaran is a large fishing village situated on a narrow isthmus with Pangandaran National Park occupying the entire headland. On either side to the east and to the west of Pangandaran village and the National Park isthmus are two beaches of volcanic black sand. The Penanjung Pangandaran nature reserve is nearby on a peninsula connected to the mainland by a narrow neck of land. The isthmus is around 200 m wide. About eighty percent of the nature reserve is secondary rainforest. The flora of the nature reserve includes the Rafflesia.

Ubud is a town on the Indonesian island of Bali in Ubud District, located among rice paddies and steep ravines in the central foothills of the Gianyar regency. One of Bali's major arts and culture centers, it has developed a large tourism industry. Puri Saren Agung is a large palace located at the intersection of Monkey Forest and Raya Ubud roads. The residence of Tjokorda Gede Agung Sukawati, the last ruling monarch of Ubud. A number of Hindu temples exist, such as Pura Desa Ubud, which is the main temple, Pura Taman Saraswati, and Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal, the temple of death. The Gunung Kawi temple is the site of the royal tombs.
