    Cuenca is a city in central Spain. Cuenca is located across a steep spur, whose slopes descend into deep gorges of the Jucar and Huecar rivers. It is divided into two separate settlements: the "new" city is situated south-west of the old one, which is divided by the Huecar course. Cuenca has strongly bet on culture and as a result of this it was declared a World Heritage site in 1996. Main sights include : Cathedral of Our Lady of Grace and Saint Julian; Church of Saint Peter; Bishop's Palace; The Castle and more.

    Almagro is a town and municipality situated in Ciudad Real province, in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. A tourist destination, Almagro is an important Historical-Artistic Zone. An International Festival of Classical Theater has also been celebrated here annually since 1978. Almagro is also famous for a variety of small aubergines, berenjenas de Almagro, seasoned and pickled according to a traditional recipe. These are usually eaten as a snack, along with other tapas, such as banderillas.

    Siguenza is a city in the province of Guadalajara in Spain. Siguenza cathedral is a very large Gothic edifice of ashlar stone, though the lower levels show that it was built onto an earlier Romanesque cathedral. With foundations dating back to the 5th century, Siguenza Castle was extended by the Moors in the 8th century and retaken by the Christians under Bernard of Agen in 1123.

  • Alarcón (Cuenca)

    Alarcon is a municipality in Spain. The town of Alarcon was declared the site of a Historic-Artistic Grouping (Conjunto Historico-Artistico) on July 3, 1981. In 1994, artist Jesus Mateo began a project to paint the interior of the old Church of San Juan Bautista, creating the Mural Paintings of Alarcon (1994-2002), which were recognized by UNESCO in 1997 for their global artistic interest.
