    Falun is a city in Dalarna County, Sweden. The Faluån river, flowing through the city, separates it into two parts. The nearby Lake Runn is a popular attraction - visited both during the winter, for ice skating, and summer for its wide variety of watersports. The year 2001, the city, it's copper mine and mining areas of Falun were added to the list of world heritage sites by the United Nations.

    Leksand is a locality in Dalarna County, Sweden, of about 6,000 residents. It is famous for the Leksands IF ice hockey team. Leksand is also home to the Leksands Baseball and Softball Club, one of the oldest and more successful baseball clubs in Sweden. Also it is known for it's Leksandsbröd, a producer of traditional Swedish Crisp bread.

    Mora is a locality in Dalarna County, Sweden. It is located between the northern shore of lake Siljan and the southern shore of lake Orsasjön. The summer solstice celebration of Midsummer plays an important role in the cultural life. People dress up in traditional folk costumes, raise maypoles, play traditional music and dance around the maypole. Vasaloppet, a 90 kilometer cross country skiing event is held in town in the beginning of March. Also, Mora has an 18 hole golf course located at sandängarna in Mora.

    Rättvik is a locality in Dalarna County, Sweden, with a population of about 4,500. It is known for it's local baseball team, Rättvik Butchers, which has won the Swedish cup once and the Swedish championship twice.

    Tällberg is a little village located in Dalarna County in Sweden,On the shore of Lake Siljan. A special character of the village is that all houses and buildings are made of wood, such as timber or log. There are eight hotels in the village and it is a known tourist and visitor resorts in Sweden.

    Bjursås is a locality situated in Dalarna County, Sweden, with about 2000 inhabitants. Tourists, many of whom come from Stockholm, visit it's ski resort every winter. Bjursås is nicknamed "The Switzerland of Dalarna", because of its broken ground.
