Sinaia is a town and a mountain resort in Prahova County, Romania. The town was named after Sinaia Monastery, around which it was built; the monastery in turn is named after the Biblical Mount Sinai. King Carol I of Romania built his summer home, Peleșs Castle, near the town. Sinaia itself is located in a mountainous area on the Prahova River valley, just east of the Bucegi Mountains. The city is a popular destination for hiking and winter sports, especially downhill skiing. Among the tourist landmarks, the most important are Peles Castle, Pelisor Castle, Sinaia Monastery, Sinaia Casino, Sinaia train station, and the Franz Joseph and Saint Anne Cliffs.

Home to the famous Peles Palace, this scenic mountain resort is the perfect destination for active travelers who love the outdoors.

Brasov is a city in Romania and the administrative county center, as well as the 7th most populous city in Romania. It is located in the Transylvania region, surrounded by the Southern Carpathians, and is notable for being the birthplace of the national anthem of Romania. It is also the largest city in a mountain resorts area. The old city is very well preserved and is best seen by taking the cable-car to the top of Tampa Mountain. Sighisoara is a city on the Tarnava Mare River in Mures County, Romania. Located in the historic region of Transylvania, Sighisoara is the birthplace of the historic Vlad Tepes, who had been the inspiration for Bram Stoker's bloodthirsty Count Dracula. This city is a popular tourist destination for its well-preserved walled old town. Some of its landmarks include the 13C Clock Tower, a 12th-century Saxon citadel, Church on the Hill as well as the covered staircase leading to it, and the House of Vlad Dracul.
