Sunny Beach (Slanchev Bryag) is a major seaside resort on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, located in the Nessebar municipality, Burgas Province. The resort's construction began back in Communist times, in 1958. Construction works began at a site, where two old wells supplying Nessebar with water in ancient times and during the Middle Ages had been located. Sunny Beach has a very small permanent population, but during the summer the resort is home to many thousands of travelers. Attractions include the beach, water sports, the two aqua parks near the resort, as well as several music and folk festivals.

Nesebar is an ancient town and one of the major seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, located in Burgas Province. Often referred to as the "Pearl of the Black Sea", Nesebar is a rich city-museum defined by more than three millennia of ever-changing history. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations and seaports on the Black Sea. Its main attractions include several remarkable churches, a lovely beach, and a fantastic city center.

Sozopol is an ancient seaside town located 35 km south of Burgas on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Today it is one of the major seaside resorts in the country, known for the Apollonia art and film festival (which takes place in early September) that is named after one of the town's ancient names. The busiest times of the year are the summer months, ranging from May to September as tourists from around the world come to enjoy the weather, sandy beaches, history and culture, fusion cuisine (Balkan, Mediterranean), and atmosphere of the colorful resort. Its main attractions are a beautiful church, and a great beach.

Pomorie is a town and seaside resort in southeastern Bulgaria, located on a narrow rocky peninsula in Burgas Bay on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. It was known by its Greek name of Anchialos until 1934. The ultrasaline lagoon Lake Pomorie, the northernmost of the Burgas Lakes, lies in the immediate proximity. The town is the administrative center of the eponymous Pomorie Municipality. Pomorie is an ancient city and today an important tourist destination. Besides the great breach, its attractions including a salt museum, the St. George Monastery, and a history museum.

Burgas is the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast and the fourth-largest in Bulgaria after Sofia, Plovdiv, and Varna. It is the capital of Burgas Province and an important industrial, transport, cultural and tourist center. The city is surrounded by the Burgas Lakes and located at the westernmost point of the Black Sea, at the large Burgas Bay. The Port of Burgas is the largest port in Bulgaria, and Burgas Airport is the second most important in the country. Burgas is the center of the Bulgarian fishing and fish processing industry. Be sure to visit the Sea Garden, Burgas Museum of Ethnography, and the Regional History Museum if you're in the area.
