Iceland Southern Peninsula Grindavik
Grindavík is a fishing town at the Southern Peninsula at the southwest coast of Iceland. The Blue Lagoon - a geothermal spa using hot and mineralized waters, Grindavík's premiere attraction, is located 3 miles (4.8 km) from the town centre. The Icelandic Saltfish Museum in Grindavík displays the story of salt fish production and its importance for the Icelandic economy throughout the centuries.
