Semarang

Semarang is a city on the north coast of the island of Java, Indonesia. It is the capital and largest city of the province of Central Java. It is home to several impressive monuments and temples. Tugu Muda is a monument built to commemorate the services of the heroes who have fallen in the Battle of Five Days in Semarang. The Sam Poo Kong temple is the oldest Chinese temple in the city. There are 20 universities in Semarang.

Set in the north of Central Java island, this large city features several cultural landmarks, great local cuisine, a nice scenery.
