  • Indonesien: Pangandaran

    Pangandaran is a town and district of Pangandaran Regency within the province of West Java, Indonesia. Pangandaran is a large fishing village situated on a narrow isthmus with Pangandaran National Park occupying the entire headland. On either side to the east and to the west of Pangandaran village and the National Park isthmus are two beaches of volcanic black sand. The Penanjung Pangandaran nature reserve is nearby on a peninsula connected to the mainland by a narrow neck of land. The isthmus is around 200 m wide. About eighty percent of the nature reserve is secondary rainforest. The flora of the nature reserve includes the Rafflesia.

The cooler climate of the highland plantation area, the varieties of food, the cheaper fashion shops located in factory outlets and distros, golf courses, and the zoo, are some of the attractions of the city. Bandung is also a popular shopping destination due to cheap textile and fashion products, especially for Malaysian and Singaporean tourists.

    Cirebon (formerly referred to as Cheribon in English) is a port city on the north coast of the Indonesian island of Java. The seat of a former Sultanate, the city's West and Central Java border location have seen its history influenced by both Sundanese and Javanese culture as well as Chinese. As one tourist destination in West Java, Cirebon City offers many charms ranging from a historical tour of the royal glory of Islam, the story of the trustees, Complex Sunan Gunung Jati in Mount Sembung about 15 miles to the west of the city center, Great Mosque of Cirebon, Taqwa Mosque, temple ancient buildings and relics of Netherlands.

    Bogor is a city in the West Java province, Indonesia. Located around 60 kilometers south from the national capital of Jakarta. Bogor is an important economic, scientific, cultural and tourist center, as well as a mountain resort. Bogor is one of the leading cities of Indonesia by the number of museums, some of which are among the oldest and largest in the country. The Zoological Museum which was opened in 1894 by the Dutch colonial administration as an adjunct to the Botanic Gardens and contains thousands of exhibits. The museum of ethnobotany was opened in 1982 and has more than 2000 exhibits; museum of the earth represents hundreds of soil and rock samples from different parts of Indonesia.
