Poland Lesser Poland Nowy Sacz
Nowy Sacz is a town in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in southern Poland. It is the district capital of Nowy Sacz County, but is not included within the county. Founded on 8 November 1292, Nowy Sacz is one of the oldest towns in the Lesser Poland region. The town has many historic features, including one of the largest marketplaces in Europe with a large town hall, Saint Margaret's basilica, a 15th-century Gothic House, Nowy Sacz Castle, the Nowy Sacz Museum, and the Sadecki Ethnographic Park.
