  • Novi Sad from Petrovaradin fortress

    Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia, the capital of the province of Vojvodina and the administrative seat of the South Backa District. It is located in the southern part of the Pannonian Plain, on the border of the Backa and Srem regions, on the banks of the Danube river, facing the northern slopes of Fruska Gora mountain. Novi Sad was founded in 1694, when Serb merchants formed a colony across the Danube from the Petrovaradin fortress, a Habsburg strategic military post. Novi Sad is an industrial and financial center of the Serbian economy, as well as a major cultural center. Its main sights include the Petrovaradin Fort, a City Museum, Danube Park, St. Mary Cathedral, and more.

    Subotica is a city in northern Vojvodina, Serbia. Formerly the largest city of Vojvodina region, contemporary Subotica is now the second largest city in the province, following Novi Sad. It is also the fifth largest city in Serbia. Subotica is a multiethnic city, with Hungarians (35.65%), Serbs (27.02%), Croats (10.00%) and Bunjevci (9.67%) as largest ethnic groups. It is the administrative centre of the North Backa District. Its main attractions are Cathedral of St. Theresa of Avila, Subotica Synagogue, Likovni susret Art Gallery, City Museum, City Hall, and many marvelous examples of Art Nouveau architecture.

    Sombor is a city located in the province of Vojvodina, Serbia. It is the administrative center of the West Bačka District. Sombor is famous for its greenery, cultural life and beautiful 18th and 19th century center. The most important cultural institutions are the National Theater, the Regional Museum, the Modern Art Gallery, Church of St. George, the Milan Konjovic Art Gallery, and more.

    Palic is a town in Serbia, 8km from Subotica, and 18km from the border between Serbia and Hungary. It is a part of the Subotica Municipality, North Backa District, autonomous province of Vojvodina. The town has a Hungarian ethnic majority and its population numbering 7,745 people (2002 census). Many tourists come to Palic every year because of the Palic lake. There are over 450 guest houses, and even a five-star hotel. It is known for its European film festival which takes place every summer. Other attractions include the Palic Zoo and the lovely historic center.

    Sremski Karlovci is a town and municipality in Serbia, in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, situated on the bank of the river Danube, 8km from Novi Sad. The town has traditionally been known as the seat of Serbian Orthodox Church in the Habsburg Monarchy, as well as political and cultural capital of Serbian Vojvodina after the May Assembly and during the Revolution in 1848. Its main attractions include the Museum of Beekeeping, Gymnasium of Karlovci, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Patriarch's Court, and more.

    Zrenjanin is a city located in the eastern part of Vojvodina, Serbia. It is the administrative centre of the Central Banat District. The city is the largest city in the Serbian Banat, the third largest city in Vojvodina (after Novi Sad and Subotica) and the sixth largest city of Serbia. Zrenjanin has many places of interest like City Hall, the Cathedral, National Museum, National Theater, Freedom Square, King Aleksandar I Street, and more.

    Vrsac is a town and municipality located in Serbia. Vrsac is located in the Banat region, in the Vojvodina province of Serbia. It is part of the South Banat District. Vrsac is a town famous for well-developed industry, especially pharmaceuticals, wine and beer, confectioneries and textiles. The city's main sights include Vrsac Castle, Church of St. Gerard, Bishop's Residence, and the Vrsac City Museum.
