Sombor is a city located in the province of Vojvodina, Serbia. It is the administrative center of the West Bačka District. Sombor is famous for its greenery, cultural life and beautiful 18th and 19th century center. The most important cultural institutions are the National Theater, the Regional Museum, the Modern Art Gallery, Church of St. George, the Milan Konjovic Art Gallery, and more.

The home-town of the Serbian Baroque movement, Sombor is known for its beautifule old architecture and excellent museums.
