Adeje is a town and municipality in the southwestern part of the island of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands, and part of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. Its economy is based on business, tourism and agriculture. Adeje is also home to the large water park Siam Park. A hundred years before the Spanish conquest (1494), this place was the capital of the Menceyato of Adeje, one of the guanches (local kingdoms) in which the island was divided. It is now one of the most important tourist cities in the Canary Islands.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is the co-capital and the most populous city in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands. Las Palmas enjoys a subtropical climate, with mild to warm temperatures throughout the year. It was founded as a city in 1478, considered the de facto only capital of the Canary Islands until the seventeenth century. The city has four main beaches: Las Canteras, Las Alcaravaneras, La Laja, and El Confital.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital of the Canary Islands. The city is home to the Parliament of the Canary Islands, the Canarian Ministry of the Presidency, one half of the Ministries and Boards of the Canarian Government,, the Tenerife Provincial Courts and two courts of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands. The main landmarks of the city include the Auditorio de Tenerife, the Santa Cruz Towers and the Iglesia de la Concepcion. The city is a melting pot of diverse cultures that give it a cosmopolitan character.

Corralejo is a town and resort located on the northern tip of Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands. Corralejo is approximately 2 mi square, making it the largest holiday resort on the island. At its center Corralejo remains a traditional fishing village. However, there are many new buildings behind and to the side of the town. Along the waterfront there is a promenade that is lined with cafes and restaurants. From the port there is a regular ferry service to Lanzarote. The beaches in Corralejo are the resort's major attraction. The area has 7 mi of fine sand starting 2 mi outside of Corralejo, along with some smaller bays along the coast.

Puerto de la Cruz is a city and municipality located in Spain, on the north coast of Tenerife island, in the Orotava Valley. Main sights in the city include : Martianez Pools completed and designed by the famous Canary architect Cesar Manrique; Jardín Beach in Puerto de la Cruz, a famous beach filled with palm trees and hotels; Plaza del Charco, in the town center; Loro Parque, a famous park and zoo located on the outskirts of the city; Ermita de San Amaro, dedicated to the semi-legendary Saint Amaro; Archaeological Museum of Puerto de la Cruz, with important pieces of prehistory of the island, which also houses the idol Guanche, called Guatimac.

Icod de los Vinos is a municipality on the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, Spain, located in the northwest part of the island. Founded in 1501, the city is a collection of seigniorial houses, ancient palaces, churches and convents. In the Plaza de Lorenzo Caceres stands the monument to General Jose Antonio Paez, founder of Venezuela's independence, whose great-grandfather came from Icod. The town's neighborhoods are sprinkled with innumerable hermitages and other buildings that give Icod great symbolic and artistic value, which can be appreciated at the Museo de Arte Sacro in the church of San Marcos.

Betancuria is a Canarian municipality in the northern portion of the island of Fuerteventura in the Spanish province of Las Palmas, Canary Islands. The city of Betancuria is named after Jean de Bethencourt and was founded in 1404 by Gadifer de La Salle and Jean de Bethencourt and was the main city in the central part of the island until the 19th century.
