Fraser Island is a heritage-listed island located along the southern coast of Queensland, Australia, approximately 200 kilometres (120 mi) north of Brisbane .It is Queensland's largest island, Australia's sixth largest island and the largest island on the East Coast of Australia. The island has rainforests, eucalyptus woodland, mangrove forests, wallum and peat swamps, sand dunes and coastal heaths. Fraser Island has been inhabited by humans for as much as 5,000 years.

Luang Prabang, literally meaning: "Royal Buddha Image", is a city in north central Laos. It was listed in 1995 for unique and "remarkably" well preserved architectural, religious and cultural heritage, a blend of the rural and urban developments over several centuries, including the French colonial influences during the 19C and 20C. Luang Prabang is well known for its numerous Buddhist temples and monasteries. Every morning, hundreds of monks from the various monasteries walk through the streets collecting alms. One of the city's major landmarks is the 150m Mount Phou Si; theres' a steep staircase leading to Wat Chom Si shrine, where you can overlook of the city and the rivers.

Passau is a town in Lower Bavaria, Germany. It is also known as the "City of Three Rivers," because the Danube is joined at Passau by the Inn from the south and the Ilz from the north. With 17,774 pipes and 233 registers, the organ at St. Stephen's was long held to be the largest church pipe organ in the world and is today second in size only to the organ at First Congregational Church, Los Angeles. Organ concerts are held daily between May and September. St.Stephen's is a true masterpiece of Italian Baroque. Many river cruises down the Danube start at Passau and there is a cycling path all the way down to Vienna. It is also notable for its gothic and baroque architecture.

Berchtesgaden is a municipality in the German Bavarian Alps. To the south of the city the Berchtesgaden National Park stretches along three parallel valleys. Berchtesgaden is often associated with the Watzmann, at 2,713 m the third-highest mountain in Germany, which is renowned in the rock climbing community for its Ostwand (East Face), and a deep glacial lake by the name of Königssee (5.2 km²). Another notable peak is the Kehlstein mountain (1,835 m) with its Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle's Nest), which offers spectacular views to its visitors.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a mountain resort town in Bavaria, southern Germany. Nearby is Germany's highest mountain, Zugspitze, at 2961 m (9714 ft.). South of Partenkirchen is the Partnach Gorge, where the Partnach river surges spectacularly through a narrow, mile-long gap between high limestone cliffs. The Zugspitze mountain is south of Garmisch. Also overlooking the city is Germany's fourth-highest mountain, the Leutasch Dreitorspitze ("Three-Gate Peak", a name derived from its triple summit). The King's House on Schachen, a small castle built for Ludwig II of Bavaria, is also located in the mountains south of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Its grounds contain an alpine botanical garden.

Oberstdorf is a municipality and skiing and hiking town in southwest Germany, located in the Allgäu region of the Bavarian Alps. The summits of the Nebelhorn and Fellhorn surround the town, providing dramatic panoramic views of the alps. The Nebelhorn can be reached with a big cable car. Visitors can ride a unique diagonal elevator to the top of the Heini-Klopfer-Skiflugschanze. Oberstdorf hosts every New Year the first part of famous Four Hills Tournament in ski jump. Germany's modern figure skating center was built on the outside of the town. It has three covered rinks and some of them are accessible to the public, for recreational skating.
