Rzeszow is the biggest city in southeastern Poland, located on both sides of the Wislok in the heartland of the Sandomierska Valley. The city, which was granted a town charter in 1354, has been the capital of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship since 1999, and is also the seat of Rzeszow County. Its attractions include Rzeszow Castle, the Main Square, Rzeszow Town Hall, Small (17th century) and Big (18th century, restored 1954–63) Synagogue, Lancut Castle, and the underground tunnels.

Przemysl owes its long and rich history to the advantages of its geographic location. The city lies in an area connecting mountains and lowlands known as the Przemysl Gate, with open lines of transportation, and fertile soil. Important trade routes that connected the Middle Europe and Eastern Europe passed through Przemysl and ensured the city's importance, thus creating the glorious Polish city. Due to long and rich history of the city, there are many sights in and around Przemysl, of special interest to tourists, including the Old Town with Rynek, the main market square. Among the historic buildings and museums, opened to visitors, are the National Museum, the Museum of Bells and Pipes, the Great Przemysl Cathedral, and multiple other rich churches.

Sanok, or The Royal Free City of Sanok, is a town in south-eastern Poland. The Sanok Castle near the center of the old town houses a museum displaying over 300 fine icons. Other attractions in the city include the Skansen in Sanok, the town square, a Parish Church dating to the 19th century, and a Franciscan Church dating to the 14th century.
