    Belgrade is the capital and largest city of Serbia. It is located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, where the Pannonian Plain meets the Balkans. Its name translates to White City. One of the most important prehistoric cultures of Europe, the Vinča culture, evolved within the Belgrade area in the 6th millennium BC. Throughout its history, the city has been settled by Celts, Romans, Slavs, Franks, Hungarian, and Ottoman. Belgrade has been awarded many titles, and is classified as a Beta- global city. Its main attractions include Belgrade Fortress, Nikola Tesla Museum and other fascinating museums, churches, parks, and a wonderful beach.

    Kragujevac is the fourth largest city in Serbia, the administrative centre of Sumadija District. It is situated on the banks of the Lepenica River. Kragujevac was the first capital of modern Serbia (1818–39); the first constitution in the Balkans was proclaimed in the city in 1835. The city was the site of a massacre by the Nazis, in which thousands of Serbs were murdered. Contemporary Kragujevac is known for its weapons and munition and automobile industry. Some of its main attractions are Sumarice Memorial Park, Cathedral of St. Sava, National Museum of Kragujevac, and more.

    Kraljevo is a city in Serbia, built beside the river Ibar, 7km west of its confluence with the Western Morava. It is located in the midst of an upland valley, between the mountains of Kotlenik in the north, and Stolovi in the south. The "lower" Ibar region is thought to be the first area where Serbs began to develop cultural, political and economic life. The Serbian state named Raška was formed in the 11th century and the most active part of this state was in the area of today's Kraljevo. Its main attractions include the National Museum of Kraljevo, Holy Trinity Church, as well as the nearby Studenica and Zica monasteries.

  • Smederevo, Serbia (Downtown)

    Smederevo is a city in Serbia, on the right bank of the Danube, about 45km downstream of the capital Belgrade. The city is the seat of the Podunavlje District. Its history starts in the 1st century BC, with the conquerings of the Roman Empire, when there existed a town called Vinceia. The modern city traces its roots back to the late Middle Ages when it was the capital (1430–1439 and 1444–1459) of the last independent Serbian state before the Ottoman conquest. Its main attractions include the Smederevo Fortress, Smederevo Museum, and lovely historic center.

    Jagodina is a city located in Serbia, 136km south of Belgrade, on the banks of Belica River. Its name derives from the word for strawberry (Јагода) in Serbian. It is the administrative centre of the Pomoravlje District of Serbia. The city proper has a population of 37,282 inhabitants, while administrative area has a population of 71,852. Jagodina was given the status of a city in December 2007. Its main attractions are the Heritage Museum, Jagodina Wax Museum, Aquapark Jagodina, Museum of Naive and Marginal Art, and a zoo.

    Topola is a town and municipality situated in the Sumadija region of Serbia. It was the place where Karadorde, a Serbian revolutionary, was chosen as the leader of the First Serbian Uprising against the Ottoman Empire in 1804. The local St. George Church is the burial place of the Ducal and Royal Family of Serbia and Yugoslavia (the Karadordevices). Topola has the preconditions necessary for development of a tourism industry. Historical and cultural monuments (Cultural Heritage of Serbia) exist: revolutionary and royal (Karageorge's town), ecclesiastical (St. George's church, Nikolje monasteries). It is a wine region (Oplenac), and a large hunting ground Kamenica.
